Here are the simple instructions for the Quick Heart-Brain Coherence 5-minute exercise to release the "feel good" hormones in your body. This is something you can do every morning after you wake up. Literally, you only need to do it for 5-minutes. Anyone can fit that into their schedule. The hormones released during that 5-minutes will last in your body for up to 6 hours. These "feel good" hormones coursing through your body will help you to feel more relaxed and calm. If you are faced with a difficult situation, you will be able to handle it in a more mindful way. Let's do this!

Quick Heart-Brain Coherence

  1. Move your hand over your heart to bring your awareness from your head to your heart. Imagine your breath going in and out of your heart.
  2. Slow your breath to 5 seconds in and 5 seconds out.
  3. Feel the feeling of love, gratitude, caring for 5 minutes. Try not to get deep in thought about the what you love etc. Keep it simple: Feel love, gratitude or caring.
